Locally sourced hardwood slab custom sized to you specifications. Each slab is hand picked by Koppen Woodworks artisan to display very individual grain structure, ambrosia and spalting. Each large void and inclusion will be traditionally bow-tie jointed and filled with resin to create a striking yet suitable dining surface. It is married with a base that is hand sculpted maple accented with a rich walnut inlay. Every piece has very individual characteristics that is visually intriguing and tells a story of the history of climate and events during that particular tree’s life. No two are alike.
